Handling and inspection
- Machine loading and unloading
- Fast or delicate handling
- Case packing, palletization
- Visual inspection, sorting, quality control...
Minimizing "additional expenses"
Taking place before or after your material transformation operations, most of these tasks do not really add value to your products. Even though they are absolutely necessary, they can indeed be considered as “additional expenses.”
With creative automation, we can help you reduce or eliminate “additional expenses”.
With 20 years experience in this field, SEA knows how to harness the potential of robotic and vision technologies to manipulate, work, and inspect your products. In some cases, our solutions lead to new perspectives for your products, clients, and company.
What does this mean on-site?
- Analyzing the shape of your products and their compliance in continuous flow, even fragile and unshaped pieces
- Designing gripper tools adapted to manipulating products according to their characteristics
- Choosing the right size robot and defining the best implementation and peripheral equipment for optimal operation of your application
A full-service organization, SEA builds and renovates turnkey robotic systems, typically choosing standard robots made by industry leaders such as FANUC, ABB, STAUBLI, KUKA, ADEPT, MOTOMAN…

Industrial vision
Shape recognition, guidance, orientation, quality control, OCR…
In addition to our extensive know-how and experience in robotics, we also offer our customers expertise in industrial vision technologies for quality inspection and robot guidance applications. This ranges from simple image comparison to detailed 2- and 3-dimensional analysis.

Vision technology has evolved significantly in recent years, and making it easy to implement many kinds of applications. But watch out for surprises!!!

|
Here’s an example.
What you see in the middle of this image appears to be a contour in the shape of a vertical sine curve, right?
Not really. The contour doesn’t actually exist. It’s just the way our brains interpret the shifted lines. A camera would not see it that way!!! |
The point is that whether you are working with cameras, optics, image processing, or variable parameters, the reliability of many successful applications is quite simply based on experience.
Our technical potential, combined with our successful real-world experience, makes it possible for SEA to offer most optimized technical, cost-effective solutions for any given situation.
Don’t hesitate to contact us to find out more.
